The Ocean Beach Youth Group family of directors, staff and board members are excited to start another season of camp in just a few short days. This year we implemented an online registration system to bring modern convenience to our beloved Fire Island institution.

Every year we bring new programming and talent to OBYG, but our mission remains the same: for every child in Ocean Beach and the surrounding communities to enjoy camp, whether as a camper or counselor. We hire every local teenager and twenty-something who wants a job. We pride ourselves by finding a place for everyone to be part of OBYG. Last year we awarded more than $75,000 in tuition scholarships. For more information about our scholarship program, visit our office or click the website link below for an application. Every family is considered on a case by case basis and handled with extreme sensitivity and confidentiality.

With Hurricane Sandy fading in our rear view mirror, we look forward to continuing the rebuilding of our camp community. We offer flexibility for your summer planning by allowing open registration throughout the summer with options for the week, month or season. We hope your family will join us.

OBYG is an 8 week summer day camp for children ages 3-13. You can enroll your child online by simply visiting our website and clicking “enroll”. Once enrolled, you will have created a login for a parent dashboard which will be your source of all information for OBYG going forward. IfYou will also have the opportunity to enroll in Lunch Bunch, our supervised bagged lunch program, and purchase backpacks, tee shirts and hats online.
